Woman's Body Found Near Artesia Freeway In Compton, Investigation Underway

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) -- A woman's body was found in Compton on  Monday around 8 p.m.

She was located in the 2200 block of Alameda Street near the 91 Freeway and pronounced dead at the scene, Los Angeles Sheriff's Department deputies said.

No information about what led up to the woman's death or her identity has been released.
