Suspect In Custody After Possible Shots Fired From Balcony In Watts

WATTS (CBSLA) – A suspect has been detained in connection with a possible shooting in Watts.

At around 10:20 a.m., Los Angeles police responded to reports of a man firing eight or nine gunshots from a balcony in the 2300 block of Santa Ana Boulevard.

Aerial footage from Sky2 showed the suspect being taken into custody a little before 11 a.m.

It's unclear if anyone was hurt or any shots were actually fired.

The circumstances of the incident were under investigation.
