Security Guard Injured, Man Suspected Of Shoplifting Dead In Stabbing Outside Carson Albertsons
CARSON (CBSLA) — Deputies were investigating Tuesday night after a stabbing at a Carson grocery store left one man injured and another dead.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the stabbing was reported at about 6:45 p.m. at an Albertsons in the 100 block of East Carson Street.
Deputies said a security guard was chasing after an alleged shoplifter when a scuffle broke out and both were stabbed.
The suspect died from his injuries, and the security guard was taken to the hospital where he was said to be in stable condition.
