Elderly Woman's Body Discovered Near Fullerton Church

FULLERTON (CBSLA) -- The body of an elderly woman was found in the parking lot of a church in Fullerton on Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

The discovery was made shortly after 2 p.m. near the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Gilbert Street in Fullerton on Sunday afternoon.

Police say at this point in their investigation the death is being treated as suspicious.

The woman's name has not yet been released.

An autopsy will determine her cause of death.
