55-Foot Boat Reported Sinking In Port Of Los Angeles
SAN PEDRO (CBSLA) — Firefighters are working to keep a large boat in the Port of Los Angeles from sinking Monday.
The 55-foot boat was reported to be taking on water at about 11:40 a.m. There is no immediate danger to anyone on board, firefighters say.
Los Angeles firefighters have surrounded the vessel with several fire boats and are working to remove water from it.
It's not clear why the boat began sinking.
