2 LAPD Officers Injured In South LA Crash

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Two LAPD officers were hospitalized Monday night after a rollover crash in South Los Angeles.

The collision occurred on 61st Street and Vermont Avenue, where the officers' vehicle hit a fire hydrant.

The vehicle was the only one involved in the crash. L.A. City Fire used extrication tools to remove one of the officers, who was trapped inside.

LAPD officials say both officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
