A 22-year-old female Irvine was the victim of the carjacking. The victim’s brother drove up and saw the crime occurring. When he tried to intervene, the suspect pushed the gas, endangering the brother. He also nearly hit the female victim with the car. Neither victim was injured during the incident.
“I saw him pull her out of the car,” said brother Ricky Kozloski.
He said he just waved to his sister in the parking lot earlier in the night as he was coming home from work in his white sedan. She was leaving in her black SUV. He noticed the driver of a black truck acting strange.
“He just was like honking the horn behind me,” said Kozloski. “She was struggling to not let the guy into the car.”READ MORE: Man in Riverside Barricades Himself Against Police After Shooting His Wife
