There are a handful of festivals happening in Orange County this weekend that run the gamut in terms of variety. From elite level music acts to historic Maritime relics to beer and Bavarian culture, there is are plenty of recreational options in Orange County.

Inviting guests to experience the size and majesty of the exploratory tall ship, Dana Point Harbor will house these stewards of the sea for three days worth of engaging activities. From mock cannon battles to the opening parade of sails, attendees will actually be able to work with the ship's crew and get familiar with the mechanics of these massive vessels. Helping to highlight the Maritime roots that exist along the California coast, just being able to board these ships is worth the price of admission. Of course to better enhance the festival experience, amenities like Sails and Ales and the Mermaid Breakfast add a food and drink component that really seal the deal. The coolest event happening in Orange County this weekend reaches some 130 plus feet in the sky.

The roster of talent that anchors the 2017 Ohana Festival reads like a hall of fame ballot.
