2 Killed In 118 Freeway Wreck In Simi Valley

SIMI VALLEY (CBSLA.com) – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle collision on the 118 Freeway in Simi Valley early Saturday morning.

The crash occurred at 4:10 a.m. on westbound State Route 118 at Stearns Street. Two people were pronounced dead, California Highway Patrol confirmed.

The circumstances of the crash and the names of the victims were not immediately known.

The westbound sided of the 118 Freeway was shut down for several hours. It fully reopened at around 8:45 a.m.
