Philanthropist Barbara Sinatra, Wife Of Iconic Singer, Dies At 90

RANCHO MIRAGE (CBSLA.com) — Barbara Sinatra, the fourth and final wife of Frank Sinatra, died Tuesday at her Rancho Mirage home. She was 90.

The longtime Coachella Valley resident and philanthropist was Sinatra's fourth and final wife. A onetime model and Las Vegas showgirl, her charitable pursuits included establishing the Barbara Sinatra Center for Abused Children in Rancho Mirage, which advocates for children who have suffered physical, sexual or emotional abuse.

Married at Walter Annenberg's Rancho Mirage estate in 1976, the Sinatras raised funds in the 1980s for the children's center on the Eisenhower Medical Center campus, which has treated over 20,000 children since its inception.
