Police Hope Sketch Will Lead To Arrest Of Sexual Predator

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Meredith Fine lives just a couple of blocks from where two women were attacked in an apartment in the Fairfax District.

"Definitely scary, so it's important for everyone make sure about what's going on around them," Fine said.

The Los Angeles Police Department hopes a sketch of a sexual predator who they fear could strike again at any time could help locate him.

On July 3, two women had just moved into their apartment when the attack occurred.

The attack by the man in the sketch is far from the only concern here. Multiple women have come forward in the Wilshire area to report other assaults.

"There's been a lot of reports of peeping Toms, people being approached in their driveways by aggressive people," said Michelle Myer, who is watching her back now more than ever. She says women in the area will be on edge until this guy is arrested.

Authorities ask anyone who's seen or knows of a man resembling the suspect in the sketch to call Los Angeles police.
