Missing Lincoln Heights Teens Found Safe

LINCOLN HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — Two teenagers who went missing Wednesday in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood have been found safe.

Adrian Gonzalez, 14, and Jalen Mazariegos, 15, were located, Los Angeles police reported early Thursday morning.

LAPD officers and bloodhounds had been out searching for the pair, who had last seen by their parents between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Police and their families believe the two were together because they are dating. Their mothers were extremely concerned for their safety because they say the two suffer from depression and have tried to harm themselves in the past. The two had even talked about committing suicide together.
