Burglar Uses Spark Plug To Break Into West Hollywood Jewelry Store

WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) – Authorities are looking for at least one suspect in a burglary that occurred last month at a West Hollywood jewelry store.

The burglary happened at around 5 a.m. on June 23 at Gina Amir Atelier located at 509 North Robertson Blvd. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reports that the suspect used a spark plug to break into the store and stole diamonds and jewels. He then ran to a waiting getaway car.

Investigators did not disclose how much the stolen jewelry was worth.

Surveillance photos of the suspect have been released. He was described as Black or Hispanic, 25 to 35 years of age, about 6 feet tall and 210 pounds. The getaway vehicle was a four-door silver or dark colored sedan.
