Firefighters Battle 450-Acre Vegetation Fire In Highland

HIGHLAND (CBSLA.com) – Firefighters are on the scene of a 450-acre vegetation fire in Highland.

The Bridge Fire was reported on the city border at 2:24 p.m. Friday, burning on the west side of State Highway 38, 1/2 mile south of Iron Bridge.

The blaze was at 20 percent containment as of 10 p.m., according to CAL FIRE's San Bernardino unit.

Greenspot Rd. was closed at Iron Bridge South.

No immediate structures were reported threatened.
