Mischa Barton's Sex Video Reportedly Being Shopped Around To Porn Websites

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Mischa Barton obtained temporary restraining orders against two former boyfriends in an effort to stop the potential sale of a sex video made without her knowledge in a case of revenge porn, the actress' attorney announced Wednesday.

"This is a painful situation, and my absolute worst fear was realized when I learned that someone I thought I loved and trusted was filming my most intimate and private moments without my consent with hidden cameras," she said, reading from a prepared statement.

"And then I learned something even worse, that someone is trying to sell these videos and make them public," Barton said. "I came forward to fight this, not only for myself but for all the women out there. I want to protect them from the pain and humiliation that I have had to go through."

The court orders against Jon Zacharias, 30, and Adam Shaw, 39, forbid them to sell or distribute the video or naked images from it or show them to anyone else.

The orders also direct them to stay at least 100 yards from Barton, her home, her workplace, her car and even her dogs.

"There's a name for this disgusting conduct: revenge pornography," attorney Lisa Bloom said. "Revenge pornography is a form of sexual assault, and it is also a crime and a civil wrong in California. And we will not stand for it."

According to court papers,  Zacharias recorded the former couple having sex and also took photos of her while she was nude without her knowledge.

Barton said in a sworn statement that after she broke up with Zacharias, she began dating Shaw. She said Shaw appeared to want to help her delete the objectionable photos from Zacharias' computer, but he later also tried to take advantage of her and forged her signature on some checks.

"I would be devastated to have the sexually intimate videos or photos of me published," Barton said. "It would hurt my career and I would be publicly embarrassed."

Recently, several publications have reported that the footage exists and that a broker told the Daily Mail the video shows the actress taking part in various sex acts with an unidentified man while wearing a black hoodie.

The broker said the video was being offered to various pornographic websites for $500,000.

However, Bloom said she didn't think the sex video or any images from it have been published and has filed a police report.

"I have a message for anyone who attempts to traffic in these photos or videos of Ms. Barton: We will find you, and we will come after you," Bloom added. "We will fully prosecute you under every available criminal and civil law."

Barton, best known for her role on the TV show "The OC," made headlines in January when she was caught on video yelling at a neighbor while hanging over her backyard fence.

Barton told People magazine later that she had been given a date-rape drug the night before, something she discovered when she checked into a hospital.
