Massive Pine Tree Falls On Car, Garage In Pasadena
PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — A family in Pasadena dealt with a crushed car Wednesday after a massive tree fell in their neighborhood.
According to firefighters, the 100-year-old pine tree fell around 7 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of North Hills Street.
The tree, which stands more than 125-feet tall, crushed one vehicle and part of a garage.
CBS2's Jasmine Viel reported officials believe saturated soil caused the tree to uproot.
No injuries were reported.
The structure was red-tagged by building inspectors.
