Soulja Boy Arrested For Violating Probation At Hollywood Hills Home
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Rapper Soulja Boy has been arrested for violating the terms and conditions of his probation, police said Thursday.
The rapper, who also goes by the name DeAndre Way, was taken into custody around 7 a.m. at his rental home, located in the 3200 block of Dos Palos Drive in the Hollywood Hills area.
Neighbors told CBS2's Jasmine Viel that Way and previous tenants have frequently hosted loud parties at the residence, which has become an ongoing problem for the neighborhood.
On Monday, a neighbor filed a police report, which ultimately led to the rapper's arrest.
During a search of the property, detectives recovered a firearm.
The investigation is ongoing.
