Make the most of your marketing dollars by checking out these organizations.

California Small Business Association (CSBA)

SBAs exist in most cities, and they offer a wealth of information to small business owners. These organizations are a must for newbies, but seasoned business owners can also benefit from available resources. The CSBA aims to help small businesses by giving them a voice in policy issues and helping them to navigate regulations, laws and other issues. Membership starts at $150, with which you'll receive access to events and other resources as well as the weekly newsletter.

SoCal Business Marketing Association

If your business sells its products or services to other businesses, you may want to invest in a membership with this organization. It offers networking and professional development services to those who market B2B products and services. Sign up for a membership for yourself and/or your marketing team to find new techniques geared specifically for marketing to business clients. Membership dues are $300 a year, and you will receive access to reports, papers, events and more.

National Association of Women Business Owners, California Chapter (NAWBO)

According to the NAWBO website, California is home to 1.3 million women business owners. It offers a variety of resources, including educational opportunities, conferences, networking and more to help women owned businesses succeed. The organization also gives female business owners the chance to help drive small business by testifying in front of lawmakers, connecting with potential investors and much more. Membership requires a $75 initiation fee, and monthly dues range from $19.95 to $39.95.

Along with the organizations listed, there are also many industry-specific organizations for every business, from contractors to biomedical companies to writers.
