Pavement-Replacement Project To Close Portion Of NB 710 Freeway

EAST LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Traffic delays were expected Friday for motorists traveling through East Los Angeles.

According to Caltrans, the northbound 710 Freeway will remain closed between the 5 and 60 Freeways until 4 a.m. Monday.

The closure, which will accommodate a $120 million pavement-replacement project, will be repeated the next two weekends.

Officials urged motorists to use the 110 or 605 Freeways as alternate routes.
