Kanye West Booed For Saying He Would've Voted 'On Trump', Calls US A 'Racist Country'

SAN JOSE (CBSLA.com) - Rapper Kanye West apparently wants to "Make America Great Again" - even though he also believes the U.S. is a "racist country".

The 39-year-old West revealed his support for President-elect Donald Trump during a show in San Jose as part of his Saint Pablo tour and was roundly booed by his fans.

"I told y'all I didn't vote, right, but I didn't tell you...but if I would've voted, I would have voted on Trump," said West.

West also praised Trump's campaign strategy as "absolutely genius because it f---ing worked". (WARNING: contains explicit language)

In another unprompted break in his two-hour set, West said the black community should "stop focusing on racism" and that Americans live in "a racist country, period."(WARNING: contains explicit language)

Some fans were seen leaving the venue during the repeated on-stage rants. One Twitter user even reported an unknown object was thrown onstage at West.

West also made reference to long-rumored run for the White House in 2020.
