Students In South LA Organize Impromptu Trump Protest

It was the story of the pied piper in the streets of South Los Angeles Thursday as high school students ditched class and marched from one school to another. At each stop they welcomed more students to join them.

By the time the students made it to West Adams High School near USC, they were several hundred strong.

The LAPD formed a protective line around them as the students ran from the sidewalks into the street.

At one point the students made their way onto the onramp of the 110. Before they got onto the freeway, they decided to turn back. High school staff were marching along with them, trying to keep them safe.

Some of these students come from immigrant families who are worried about their future under a Trump presidency.
