10-Foot-Tall "TRUMP!" Letters Greet 101 Freeway Commuters

ENCINO (CBSLA.com) — Commuters on the 101 Freeway passing through Encino saw the sun rise over Donald Trump on Election Day – literally.

Along the eastbound Ventura (101) Freeway, between the White Oak Avenue and Balboa Boulevard exits, approximately 10-foot-tall letters spelling out "TRUMP!" were apparently placed on the pedestrian bridge late Monday night.

On the next pedestrian bridge, a banner was hung that read "#WriteInBernieSanders."

With hundreds of thousands of commuters using the eastbound 101 Freeway from the west San Fernando Valley and Ventura County every day, the pedestrian bridges are often used to convey messages. In 2009, an enterprising job seeker sparked interest in his resume by holding up signs that read "HireMeMBA" and "@gmail.com" on the bridge.

As for the Election Day signage, the long campaign process may have the opposite effect.
