OC Voting Systems Checked For Accuracy Ahead Of Election Day

SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — Accuracy testing of Orange County's voting system took place Tuesday ahead of the presidential general election.

The Logic and Accuracy test, which is required by law to be performed prior to each election, took place at 10 a.m. at the Orange County Registrar of Voters in Santa Ana.

The tests included proofing the programming of the ballot, each ballot style and each contest position on the ballot, officials said.

According to the Registrar of Voters, all previous tests of the system have proven to work accurately.

The testing process was open to the public.
