Police: 4 In Clown Costumes Attack Man On Skateboard In Southern California

SAN DIEGO (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a man has been hospital with stab wounds after he says he was attacked by four people wearing clown costumes in San Diego.

The San Diego Police Department says officers responded to a hospital Friday night regarding a stabbing victim.

When they arrived, they learned that the man had been riding his skateboard in College East, a college area in San Diego.

According to police, the man had gotten into a verbal argument with someone across the street.

As he rode away, he says he was then attacked by four people in clown costumes, police said.

The victim sustained two stab wounds to his lower abdomen, and cuts to his left cheek, and shoulder.

Police said his injuries were non-life-threatening.

The incident is under investigation by detectives with the San Diego Eastern Division.
