The usage here of “Comic-Con” is a bit misleading. A Comic Convention or “Comic-Con” is a general term but most people think of the San Diego Comic-Con when they hear “Comic-Con” and the notice here seems to imply the Comic-Con that is is San Diego is now “arriving” in LA. This is most assuredly NOT the same as the San Diego Comic-Con. In fact, it was formerly known as Stan Lee’s Comic-Kaze and has been held in LA for a few years now. They just changed the name this year to “Stan Lee’s LA Comic-Con.” While it will surely increase traffic in the area more than many other convention center events, this Comic-Con will have nowhere near the attendance level of the San Diego Comic-Con.
