Public's Help Sought To Locate Missing 47-Year-Old Man In Long Beach

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Sheriff's deputies sought the public's help Wednesday to locate a 47-year-old man who has been reported missing in Los Angeles.

James Thomas Wilson was last seen leaving work around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in Long Beach on his way home to Compton, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Detectives described Wilson as a bald African American man who has brown eyes, wears glasses, stands 6-foot-3 tall and weighs 169 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and tan pants.

Wilson suffers from schizophrenia and is developmentally disabled, authorities said. He is unable to care for himself.
