Ken Bone Cashes In On Twitter Fame

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Oct. 9 may go down in history as the day that an Internet star was born, and his name is Kenneth Bone.

Bone, who made an appearance during the second presidential debate last Sunday, turned into an overnight sensation following his on-air question about energy policy.

From his now-famous red cable knit sweater to his soft-spoken underdog demeanor, social media went crazy over Bone.

Since the debate, Bone has been taking full advantage of his current stardom by using his image to endorse Uber and push his own branded line of t-shirts and pullover sweaters.

Can you blame him? If you go from having under 100 followers on twitter to now over 218K, you have to take advantage, and Ken Bone certainly is.
