The Rams have been battling with the Cardinals all day in what has been largely a defensive affair. Late in the fourth quarter, Tavon Austin provided a spark with a 47-yard punt return that was made even longer by a face mask penalty. That gave the Rams the ball in great field position at the Cardinals 19 yard line.
Five plays later, facing a 2nd and goal from the four, Keenum threw a perfect pass to the corner of the end zone where Brian Quick was able to hold off the corner and give the Rams the lead.
That was Quick's second touchdown of the day and it gave the Rams a 17-13 lead.
