LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com/AP) — Charlie Culberson played the hero with a walk-off HR in the 10th as the boys in blue clinched their fourth consecutive National League West Division title.

The win comes two days after the team honored legendary broadcaster Vin Scully, who was in the booth on Sunday for the his final home call.

The Dodgers have now won four consecutive NL West division titles and will head to the postseason with some serious momentum.

The team will almost certainly play the Washington Nationals in the first round of the MLB Playoffs.

The Dodgers took off their caps, turned toward Scully’s broadcasting booth and held them in a salute to the 88-year-old Hall of Famer, who has just three games at San Francisco next weekend before ending his 67-year career.

Under first-year manager Dave Roberts, the Dodgers became the first NL West team to win four straight division titles.

Scully began with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1950 and is the longest tenured broadcaster with a single team in professional sports. He was nattily attired in his usual long-sleeved shirt and tie despite the 95-degree heat.
