Pedestrian In Critical Condition After Being Struck In Studio City Hit-And-Run

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — A 65-year-old man was critically injured when he was struck in a hit-and-run crash in Studio City, a police officer said Saturday.

The man was walking in the crossing area of Moorpark and Coldwater Canyon at about 7:25 p.m. Friday when he was struck by an eastbound car, described as a 1989 Gold Saturn Ion with California license plate numbers 6HAY595, Los Angeles police spokesman Officer Mike Lopez said.

He was taken to a hospital and is in critical condition, police said.
