2 Men Wanted In Multiple Cellphone Store Armed Robberies

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Security video of one store in downtown L.A. shows two men come into a cellphone store and one of them pulled out a gun, demanding phones and cash.

The store owner who doesn't want to show his face says they got away with thousands of dollars in cash and merchandise.

Los Angeles police say the same men are responsible for 13 armed robberies of cellphone stores in downtown L.A. and South L.A. within the past two months.

Gennifer Navarrette, manager of another cellphone store, says she was robbed by the same guys in July.

She was working alone at the time, but now two people are required to work at the store, just in case.

Police say the men have also pointed Tasers instead of a gun at employees in some robberies. No injuries have been reported.

A $15,000 reward has been approved for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the two men.
