2 Men In Custody After Charging At Ryan Lochte During 'Dancing With The Stars' Performance

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Two men faced misdemeanor trespassing charges Tuesday after rushing onto the dance floor while Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte made his debut on "Dancing with the Stars."

According to police, Barzeen Brandon Soroudi, 25, and Sam Sotoodeh, 59, were arrested Monday evening.

The incident unfolded while judge Carrie Ann Inaba delivered her opinion of Lochte and Cheryl Burke's performance Monday evening.

The men charged towards Lochte, and were quickly removed from the set by security guards.

CBS2's Jasmine Viel said the men wore anti-Lochte T-shirts during the incident.

Cell phone video captured a group of women, who wore similar T-shirts, leaving the audience.

The show quickly cut to commercial break during the incident. Lochte later explained his feelings were hurt.

"I wanted to do something that I'm completely not comfortable with, and I did," he said. "Honestly, I just felt like someone just reached inside and took my heart out, just tore it to shreds."

The Olympic swimmer made headlines in August after he reported a false account of being robbed at gunpoint by police in Brazil.

In response to the incident, U.S. team officials banned Lochte from competing for 10 months.

He is expected to return to "Dancing with the Stars" next week.

Soroudi and Sotoodeh are each being held in lieu of $1,000 bail.
