Video Shows Dump Truck Smashing Into Vehicles In San Gabriel

SAN GABRIEL (CBSLA.com) — A dump truck driver lost control Wednesday, and hit eight vehicles in three separate collisions along Valley Boulevard.

The first was at the intersection of Valley Boulevard and New Avenue. More vehicles were hit at Valley Boulevard and Del Mar Way. The last collision happened near Valley Boulevard and San Gabriel Boulevard.

The collisions were recorded on video by people in a vehicle following the truck, as it drove onto the medium and finally came to a stop.

San Gabriel police officers the driver suffered a medical emergency.

Four people were hurt.

Two were taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
