Hillary Clinton To Attend Fundraisers In Southland

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will begin a two-day visit to Los Angeles and Orange counties Monday.

Tickets for an evening fundraising event in the Beverly Hills area begins at $2,700 per person.

Those who raise or contribute $27,000 will be admitted to a co-host reception with the former secretary of state.

Couples who donate $100,000 will attend a dinner with Clinton and have their picture taken with her.

Charis for the event include The Walt Disney Co. Chairman and CEO Robert A. Iger, DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, Chairman and CEO of the Saban Capital Group, Inc., Haim Saban, and Chairman of the committee seeking to bring the 2024 Olympics to Los Angeles, Casey Wasserman.

Clinton's visit begins one day after the Republican National Committee released a 19-second paid web ad critical of "Hillary Clinton's liberal elite summer tour with frequent stops in Beverly Hills, Hollywood and Cape Cod."

The former secretary of state is scheduled to hold a $33,400 per person luncheon fundraiser on Tuesday, with hosts including actor Tobey Maguire, actress Jennifer Aniston and television producer Shonda Rhimes.
