The tortoise’s owner, Nancy Knauss, thinks the Touche may have developed an attraction to the cover, which resembles a tortoise shell.

This drain cover, which resembles a tortoise shell, may have been the object of Touche's affection. The tortoise was discovered climbing on top of the cover, and returned to its owner.
