Girl Scouts Unveil 'Chocolatey,' 'Marshmallowy' S'Mores Cookies

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  — Move over Thin Mints. There's a new Girl Scout cookie in town.

The Girl Scouts of America debuted Wednesday two new varieties of cookies -- both of them s'mores-themed, CBS Boston reported. The announcement came on National S'mores Day.

One of the varieties features "a crispy graham cookie double dipped in a crème icing and enrobed in a chocolatey coating," while the other offers "a crunchy graham sandwich cookie with a chocolate and marshmallowy filling."

The cookies will be available in select markets. The Girl Scouts said those interested in whether the cookies will be available in their market should check with their local chapter.

They will be the first new additions to the Girl Scout Cookie lineup since 2015 when the organization debuted peanut butter-flavored Trios, oatmeal raisin-flavored Rah-Rah Raisins and its Toffee-tastic cookies.
