Burglary Reported At Former Palm Springs Home Of Marilyn Monroe

PALM SPRINGS (CBSLA.com) — Police were called out to Marilyn Monroe's former Palm Springs home on the report of a burglary Wednesday.

Officers responded to a burglary-in-progress call at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday at 1326 Rose Ave.

No suspects were found, but a watch commander said items were taken from the home. No further details were released.

The Hollywood icon lived in the four-bedroom bungalow home in 1960 and 1961.
