Dozens Injured After Railing Collapses During Snoop Dogg Concert

CAMDEN, N.J. (CBSLA.com) — Footage posted to social media Friday night showed the moment a railing collapsed during a concert in Camden, N.J., featuring Snoop Dogg.

The incident unfolded at the BB&T Pavilion during the show that was part of the High Road Tour, which also featured Wiz Khalifa.

The two were onstage when a partition at the venue gave way.

Witnesses say fans were pressed up against the railing that separated a lawned area from organized seating.

They say when the rappers hit the stage, and lights turned on, the crowd surged forward.

The railing collapsed, and dozens of people tumbled to the concrete.

Some were seen limping away, while others had to be pulled up by friends.

Emergency crews responded and set-up a triage center in the parking lot.

Dozens were treated for minor injuries. Reports indicate that five people were taken to the hospital.

The rest of the show was canceled following the incident.

No further information was immediately available.
