Former Laker Derek Fisher Teases Potential On-Court Comeback

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Former Laker great Derek Fisher took to social media to hint at a potential comeback not as a coach, but as a player.

The 41-year-old point guard posted a video on his facebook showing him working on his ball-handling and jump shot attached with the caption, "Working on being a better me. Loving every minute of this journey" followed by a series of hashtags - including "#imnotdoneyet", the one that started rumors flying.

According to ESPN.com's Ian Begley, Fisher has been working out and is "exploring options and expressing interest in playing again."

Fisher, who's a five-time NBA champion, retired back in 2014 after playing 18 seasons with five separate teams.

In his final season, he averaged a mere 5.2 points per game and 1.4 assists while shooting 39.1 percent from the field.
