3 Bodies Found Inside Lake Elsinore House

LAKE ELSINORE (CBSLA.com) — Three bodies were found inside a house in Lake Elsinore Tuesday.

Deputies found the victims at about 10:30 a.m. at the house in the 31000 block of Wisconsin Street.

A spokesman for the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, Deputy Armando Munoz, said they were victims "of a violent crime," but declined to say how they were killed.

But Rigoberto Garcia, who lives directly behind the house, said the sound of gunshots woke him up at about 5 a.m.

"I hear three shots and one lady saying:  'aye aye aye.' I opened my window, I couldn't see nothing," Garcia recalled.

Some neighbors said they are not surprised crimes happened at that house.

"All the neighbors know that bad things were happening in that house, and the guy was up to no good," said one neighbor, who didn't want to be identified.

"They do say people just always going in and out of that house and stuff. When we knew something happened, everybody just said that house," neighbor Lucia Mendez said.

Other neighbors said they did not feel safe living so close to that house. "You see a lot of homeless people coming in and out of there," one of them said.

David Love is one of the victim's friends. He said the homeowner took in homeless people, including himself, and does not know why the homeowner and two others were killed.

"He always opened his door. If they needed showers, he let them shower. If they're hungry, he fed them," Love said.

Investigators are not saying if the killer is behind bars or still on the loose.

And that concerns Mendez who said "the cops haven't told us anything. We don't know anything what's going on."
