PALOS VERDES ESTATES (CBSLA.com) — Residents in about 200 homes in Palos Verdes Estates have been warned to not drink or cook with their tap water until further notice.
California Water Service issued a notice Monday night that a breach at a remote storage tank might have rendered the water unsafe. Residents were asked to use bottled water and save their receipts for reimbursement.

The state Division of Drinking Water was investigating the incident with local law enforcement.
