Jennifer Aniston Sets Record Straight In Scathing Essay: 'I Am Not Pregnant'

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Jennifer Aniston is taking on tabloids and the constant celebrity rumor mill in a candid online essay.

The 47-year-old Aniston penned the essay published online and titled "For The Record."

In it, she went on to explain that she is not pregnant, despite rumors which have circulated over the past month.

But, what she is, she said, is "fed up."

"I'm fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of 'journalism,' the 'First Amendment' and 'celebrity news,' " she wrote.

She went to say, "the reality is the stalking and objectification I've experienced first-hand, going on decades now, reflects the warped way we calculate a woman's worth."

And when it comes to speculation over whether she'll have children, she wrote:

"We are complete with or without a mate, with or without a child. We get to decide for ourselves what is beautiful when it comes to our bodies."
