Escaped Dog Home After 3 Weeks On The Run

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A dog who let himself out of a doggie day care in Hollywood is finally home.

Cash, a 7-year-old lab-pit mix, was being cared for at the Pooch Pet Hotel in Hollywood three weeks ago. Security video showed him pawing at a door before escaping onto Highland Avenue.

Cash's owners, Talita Trygsland and Louis Angelo, posted flyers all over Hollywood and Runyon Canyon. They also offered a $1,000 reward, and hired a pet detective.

Cash turned up at a shelter.
