Police Hunt Suspect Who Robbed Hometown Buffet In Loma Linda

LOMA LINDA (CBSLA.com) —  The San Bernardino Sheriff's Department is on the hunt for a brazen robbery suspect who calmly stood on line at a Hometown Buffet in Loma Linda before handing a cashier a note demanding cash.

The suspect also showed the cashier that he was in possession of a handgun.

The robbery took place Friday evening around 6:15 p.m. in the 24000 block of Redlands Boulevard.

The suspect was described as Latino, about 5 feet 5 inches, about 200 pounds and between 40-50 years of age. The suspect was wearing a brown jacket.

The cashier gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money from the register. The suspect calmly walked out the front door and west across the parking lot.
