In-N-Out Burger Snags Top Spot As Best Burger Restaurant Of Year, Poll Finds

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — In-N-Out has been named the best burger restaurant of the year, according to a study by The Harris Poll.

Coming in second in that category was Five Guys Burgers and Fries followed by Culver's, Wendy's, and Sonic America's Drive-In.

The annual study -- now in its 28th year -- revealed the strongest brands in nearly 100 categories, such as travel, retail, restaurants, and household industries.

The results were based on consumer responses.

Subway also snagged a top spot in the category of sandwich shops and was followed by Panera Bread.

The poll also ranked Chick-fil-A as number one in the category of chicken restaurants.
