Police: Man Wanted For Exposing Himself At Irvine Apartment Complex Pool

IRVINE (CBSLA.com) — Police asked for the public's help Tuesday to identify a man they say exposed himself at an Irvine apartment complex pool.

Witnesses told police they saw the man "engaging in lewd conduct and indecent exposure" while in a gated pool area at the Los Olivos Apartments in Irvine between 3:30 and 4 p.m. Friday, police spokeswoman Farrah Emami said.

When a witness tried to follow him, he ran to his car and fled the scene, Emami said.

The man was described as a Middle Eastern or Italian man in his 40s, about 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing black aviator-style sunglasses, a gold chain, black swim shorts, and possibly gold-striped workout attire and/or black slacks.

He was seen driving away in an older-model sedan, possible a Honda, with faded dark blue paint.

Anyone with information about the man's can call Irvine police Detective Gavin Hudson at (949) 724-7168.
