CORONA (CBSLA.com) — For several months, 10-year-old Sidney Vasquez had a loose tooth.

And she wouldn’t let her mom, dad, nor dentist pull it.

“This tooth was making everybody crazy, three months of drama at the dinner table. We had had enough,” said Carlos Vasquez, Sidney’s dad.

So, perhaps that’s why Sidney and her family enlisted the help of their 5-year-old German shepherd named Pantur.

The family tied some dental floss around Pantur’s collar and to Sidney’s tooth.

Then, her tooth was pulled.

Sidney’s brother caught it all on video.

“I was like, ‘Let’s just get this baby out already … let’s do it,’ ” said Sidney, who’s now waiting for the tooth fairy.
