Sketch Released Of Man Wanted For Sexually Assaulting Multiple Women In Santa Ana

SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Friday to locate a man who committed a series of sexual assaults in Orange County.

According to the Santa Ana Police Department, at least three victims, who later admitted to being prostitutes, were assaulted on different occasions in August 2015 and January of this year.

Each assault took place on Harbor Boulevard near Hazard in Santa Ana.

Police said the suspect posed as an undercover officer and coaxed each victim into his vehicle.

The victims were driven to secluded locations where the sexual assaults occurred.

Detectives described the suspect as a Caucasian man who is believed to be in his mid 40s, has blonde or gray hair and blue eyes. He stands no taller than 6-feet and has a muscular build.

The suspect was last seen driving a newer model, blue four-door Nissan or an older-model, black two-door Subaru hatchback, police said.

One assault occurred in August 2015, and two additional assaults occurred in January 2016.
