Horse Stuck In Mud Rescued In Agoura Hills

AGOURA HILLS (CBSLA.com) —  A disaster animal rescue team and firefighters Monday rescued a 23-year-old horse stuck in a muddy spot in Agoura Hills.

It remained unclear how the animal became trapped in a backyard at 5500 Fairview Drive. The incident was reported around 4:30 p.m.

Rescuers used a crane to lift the horse, said Los Angeles County Fire Capt. Brian Jordan.

He said the horse suffered a leg injury.
