According to the Corona Police Department, officers and firefighters were sent shortly before 4:30 p.m. Friday to the area of Hidden Valley, located east of the 15 Freeway, for report of a severe injury related traffic collision.

Upon their arrival, authorities learned two motorcycles and two vehicles were involved in the collision.

Paramedics transported the two motorcyclists to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment of serious injuries sustained in the crash.

Borja's motorcycle and the Volkswagen both caught on fire as a result of the collision.

The drivers of the vehicles did not sustain injuries, police said.

At this time, no arrests or citations have been issued.

The investigation is ongoing.
